The Edge is first and foremost a drug and alcohol service.  However we pride ourselves in providing a holistic service.  By this we mean that we explore our clients, emotional , physical and spiritual well being.

Sexual health is a sensitive issue and many young people pursue sexual relationships with little information regarding the risks and consequences.  We offer confidential sexual health advice on all areas of sexual health.

Our aim is to ensure that you are given all the facts so that you can make an informed decision.  We offer a range of services, from free condoms to chlamydia and  pregnancy testing and relationship counselling.  We can also refer to other services to provide any care which we may be unable to offer.

Where to go for help and advice

Sexual health clinics specialise in diagnosing and treating all Sexually transmitted infections (STI's). Most large hospitals have a sexual health clinic. You can find details of your nearest clinic by:
