Drop-in at The Edge
The Drop in area of The Edge
The term "Drop In" at The Edge means that people can just "drop in" and they don't have to have an appointment. This can be very useful for some people who are having a rough time at the moment, and they don't really know if they're coming or going. Plus, it also means that you don't have to go through the formalities of actually making an appointment, as this can sometimes seems a bit too much like a doctor's office! There will usually be someone who can see you there and then if you drop in, but occasionally all the workers will be busy and you may have to make arrangements to come back in at a later date. The Edge is a young-person friendly place. We have a Playstation, a telly, a video player and sofas to relax on. You can always get a cup of tea, and if you're lucky, some biscuits too. |
