The Edge in School

Every year, The Edge tries to do at least one assembly in every school in the West Berkshire area. Sometimes this is only one year group, but other times it can be the whole school! The whole point of us doing assemblies is so that we can access as many young people as possible and tell them:

This means that loads of young people get to find out about The Edge and what we're all about. Look out for us between January and March each year!!

Another thing that we do in school, is to offer support to people who have been caught using drugs in school. We will often do work with those young people to try and keep them from being permanently excluded. This can be very useful if someone is unlucky enough to get caught the first time they ever try a drug, and possibly end up being excluded because of it.

We also attend various health awareness days at some schools in the area, where pupils can lean more about drugs and alcohol in a "rolling workshop" environment.
